Jean Impey, Spider Webs

Ever wonder how to get so many quilts finished? This project is a bit of old-style-quilting, mixing it up with the fascinating use of color and design and making it your own.

She will show techniques for how to get things done quickly! You can weave your scrap fabrics into a new quilt full of surprises. Lose yourself in the rhythm of stitches and repetition making new works of art with her using modern fabrics, colors, textures, techniques and patterns.

The spider web uses 28 different fabric strips (no repeats) along with a few scraps for some "crazy work" and this makes into a pillow front. If you like, continue on and make a quilt. It's lots of fun, her sample has 280 different fabrics not including the crazy work in between.

Jean's website provides more information about her classes.
